Bitsafe is the new name for Freenom and Verotel, two disruptive brands in the transactional online business space. Freenom is the world's second largest domain registration provider with over 35 million active internet domains registered. Verotel is a registered Electronic Money Institution processing millions of credit card transactions. Bitsafe brings these two brands together into a new service: a Bitsafe Basic Payment Account. Offering a “discreet account”, Bitsafe provides a Bitsafe IBAN, allowing account holders to take part of SEPA transactions and hold domain names and other digital assets. Purchases and ATM withdrawals can be made with the Bitsafe Debit Card.
We are currently seeking to hire an experienced and high-performing Sales Manager. As our Sales Manager you manage, coach and mentor an international sales team that exists of Key Account Managers, Customer Experience Specialists and Customer Investigation Specialists. You will be based in our international headquarters in Amsterdam. Your role is a major contributing factor in growing our recently launched Bitsafe service at a global level.
You will eat, sleep, and breathe the Bitsafe value proposition. Together with your team you will contribute to Bitsafe’s business plan by focusing on lead generation, new sales, onboarding of new customers, creating and developing partnerships, account management, account retention and exceptional customer experience. You have a clear vision on online sales strategies. You recognize that every single interaction with prospects and customers is an opportunity to contribute to an exceptional user experience and that this a major contribution to the value of our brand.
As part of our services we provide payment solutions to high-risk businesses, this includes online adult entertainment websites. This means that you need to feel comfortable with adult content and interacting with the people who run those online businesses.
Manage, coach and mentor an international sales team based in Amsterdam (key account managers, customer experience specialists, customer investigation specialists);
Management of the team in helping them achieve their professional goals through performance and sharing best practices;
Making and keeping best-in-class customer service a priority;
Contribute to Bitsafe business plan;
Eat, sleep, breath the Bitsafe value proposition;
Focus on new sales, account management and account retention;
Identify growth opportunities for existing accounts (cross- selling, upselling);
Continue to build a partner/linker strategy;
Proactively provide relevant feedback to the board of directors;
Support an open communication environment to ensure positive employee morale;
Implement team and personal OKR’s and report on a weekly basis;
Prepare for and attend some annual international trade shows.
Has a Bachelor or Master’s degree;
Has 5 year+ experience in a similar role, preferably at a startup or small financial institution;
Is an energetic and dynamic personality with excellent commercial and communication skills;
Has effective and creative problem solving and decision-making skills;
Has a clear vision on online sales strategies;
Has a personal passion for exceeding customer expectations;
Embraces change and likes to work in a fast paced environment;
Gets excited by start-up culture, workspace, and development;
Is comfortable dealing with adult content;
Has very strong English communication skills.
