All-round Management Assistant (m/f)

(40 hours per week)

Bitsafe is the new name for Freenom and Verotel, two disruptive brands in the transactional online business space. Freenom is the world's second largest domain registration provider with over 35 million active internet domains registered. Verotel is a registered Electronic Money Institution processing millions of credit card transactions. Bitsafe brings these two brands together into a new service: a Bitsafe Basic Payment Account. Offering a “discreet account”, Bitsafe provides a Bitsafe IBAN, allowing account holders to take part of SEPA transactions and hold domain names and other digital assets. Purchases and ATM withdrawals can be made with the Bitsafe Debit Card.

As the All-round Management Assistant, you will be assisting the commercial and technical management team of Bitsafe in a variety of duties. You are a self-motivated, forward-thinking management assistant with the ability to adapt and to change positively in response to changing circumstances. You are confident, outgoing and have a great attention to detail. As the all-round Management Assistant you will be the backbone of the company ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety. You pride yourself in being one step ahead of the game and take a proactive approach in your work. You support the management of Bitsafe in every way possible and is the jack of all trades that cannot be missed.

As part of our services we provide payment solutions to high-risk businesses, this includes online adult entertainment websites. This means that you need to feel comfortable with adult content and interacting with the people who run those online businesses.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Support the Management Team with a variety of tasks;

  • Handle incoming telephone enquiries and liaise with customers;

  • Organize complex international travel including suggesting and producing itineraries;

  • Organize the office layout and maintain supplies of stationery and equipment;

  • Provide day to day management of the CEOs schedule;

  • Maintain the condition of the office and arranging for necessary repairs;

  • Use a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets and databases;

  • Run admin procedures and organize an office structure;

  • Any other ad hoc procedure as required.

As a minimum, you:

  • Have experience in a small office environment;

  • Have a completed Bachelors or Masters degree;

  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal;

  • Have the ability to work under own initiative and under pressure;

  • Have good IT skills with working knowledge of various applications;

  • Are organized and efficient;

  • Have excellent (English) language skills;

  • Are open to challenges and keen to find new ways of doing things - effectively and efficiently.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience in the online, hosting or domain name industry and/or experience in another fintech scale-up;

  • Experience in an international business.
